Chapter 8 Response By Francisco Elizalde
I have done some types of essays, Argumentative essays, persuasive essays, and others, but I have yet to write one to do with an exemplification structure. Chapter eight of the thirteenth edition of Patterns For College writing Talks about what exemplification structure is, how you are supposed to use it and other very useful tips and rules. First of all an exemplification essay is one made up majorly of examples. The topic are endless, an essay in this structure can range from writing about a bad day, to creating a piece about your life story, and much more. The text "Patterns For College writing" mentions something which I found very important and key to writing an exemplification essay, which is transitions. Transitions are very important when it comes to writing in this structure, as it contributes to one important of the most important qualities of a good essay which will be clarity. This essay ranging from 3-5 pages will be difficult, due to the great amount of examples which will be used. As I mentioned earlier, this will be my first exemplification essay, and I know it will be hard but writing this essay is a challenge I am willing to accept.
