ENG 121
Interview with Nick Franze
On Tuesday, I met Nick a 19 year old born in Long Island, New York. Nick lived in Long Island, NY his whole life, up until fall last year when he decided to move from his home state's New York Jets country to Denver Broncos country, by the way Nick is a Jets fan. He has lived in Longmont, Colorado ever since august 2014, so about a year now. In the time that he has been here he has become a volunteer at the county's dive team. He also scuba dives for fun. Besides scuba diving, Nick has been studying at Front Range Community College for about three semesters now. He is here to get an associates degree in criminal justice. In the time here at FRCC Nick has not become familiar with the campus library at all. When writing Nick likes to use MLA format. He is not a poet, however he does enjoy reading it. Nick does not write weekly emails to his friends. He does indeed write reports at work. He does Activity/incident reports at his job as security at a surgical tool company. Nick previous experiences have been good except when it comes to research papers. Nick has not attempted ENG 121 before and he has never participated in peer work-shopping in any other classes. Nick knows how to use a computer, he owns a computer, and he does get online at home. He is fairly well at writing an email, and navigating the internet. His goal for this class are to become a better writer. He has problems with particular aspects of writing and some other interesting facts about Nick are that he likes to work out and enjoys activities like snowboarding and fishing. That is a little bit I learned about Nick and a goal I have in common with him is to become a better writer.
